Robert Joseph Wicht Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joseph Wicht of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Christian Wicht and Gladys Wicht (Oelschlager). He is survived by : his wife Janice (Nelson); his sons, Eric of Hastings and Jason of Denver, CO.; and his siblings, Jack (Arizona), Don (Texas), Connie (Arizona), Janet (Tennessee), Linda (Nebraska), Lorrie (Colorado), Kathy (Wyoming) and Cindy (Indiana).

During this time he also served as member of Resource Group for AAAS in a project with the National Science Foundation.
