We bid farewell to Roberta M. Horstman in Grand Island, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Roberta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Klabenes and Genevieve Klabenes (Storm). She is survived by: her children, Ronald Gartner of Cozad, Sharon Jones (Greg) of Grand Island, Bill Gartner (Alisha Jensen) of Cozad and Lori Persson of West Point; her grandchildren, Tonya Wilcox, Mitch Jones (Jenna), Emily Boehler (Alex), Trevor Jones (Grace Ottman), Tiffany Shane (Kelsey), Charity Murow (Dan), Colten Bolling (Kimberly Kelley) and Keaton Persson (Paige Lierman); and her siblings, Robert Klabenes (Jeri) and Jeannette Erikson (Lonnie) of Cairo. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bethany Presbyterian Church (85179 494th Ave, Ewing, NE 68735). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
