He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Beermann and Edith Beermann (De Vor); and his brother-in-law Larry Schwerin. He is survived by: his sisters, Carole Holmes (Harold) of Papillion, NE and Diane Schwerin of Avon Park, FL; and his nephews, Bryan Holmes (Sherry) of Grand Island, NE and Jim Holmes (Dawn) of Omaha, NE.
