Roger L. Schleicher Obituary
We announce the death of Roger L. Schleicher of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 79. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Schleicher and Patsy Schleicher (Hildebrand); his wife Joan Ditter; and his sister Nancy Casarez. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Schleicher, Scott Schleicher (Sheila) and Jason Schleicher (Rita); his stepchildren, John Ragland Jr. (Ramona), Joey Keezer and Jennifer Green (Chuck); and his siblings, Dave Schleicher, Terry Schleicher (Ann), Steve Schleicher (Lorrie), Sam Schleicher (Deb), Judy Eastman (Dave) and Karen Brei (Harold). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
