She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack "John" Ternus and Larraine Ternus (Liewer); her former husband Kenneth Jaixen; her husband Cleo Beberniss; her daughter Diane Lunberry; her granddaughter Brenda Kowalski; her great grandchildren, Savannah Herrold and Chandler Keezer; her sons-in-law, Richard Kowalski and John Woldruff; and her siblings, Judy Ternus, Ed Ternus, Tom Ternus and Melvin Ternus.
She is survived by: her children, David Jaixen (Jeri) of Grand Island, Susan Kowalski of Grand Island, Linda Woldruff of Tucson, AZ, Cathy Hickey (Kevin) of Caldwell, TX, Ronald Jaixen (Vicki) of Kearney and Margie Wilson of Lincoln; her stepdaughter Candi Launer (Jeff) of Kearney; her son-in-law Ken Lunberry; and her siblings, Jean Whitten, Jack Ternus, Margie Husak, Carol Stephens, Mina Ternus and Lois Cockson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home (1123 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
