He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Leo (Edna Porter); his children, Kevin Porter of Festus, MO, Kelly Rafferty (Kelly) of Grand Island and Kristi Clinton (Richard) of Ste. Genevieve, MO; his grandchildren, Ron, Todd, Kayla, Brandy, Derek, Molly, Shane and Heather; his wife Kathleen; his parents, Leo Porter and Edna Porter (Rork); and his siblings, Raymond Porter, Harold, Bob, Donald Dawson, Beverly Dale (Dawson), Shirley Dawson and Betty Jean Dawson. He was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
