He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hansen and Jeanette Hansen (Ellington); his stepfather Howard Stearns; his sister Diane Iacoponelli; and his stepsisters, Dorcas Stearns, Barbara Huston and Janet Traill.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hansen; his children, Julie Johnson (Tim) of Broken Bow and Stephen P. Hansen (Kelly) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Taylor Arnold (Josh), Tanner Johnson, Abbey Hansen and Kenzie Hansen; and his great grandchildren, Anniston, Tilly and Leni Arnold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
