It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Takeo Utsumi of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 84, on September 21, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Masami Utsumi and Harve Utsumi (Motoya); his sibling Hitoshi "Tosh" Utsumi; Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kamper; his sisters-in-law, Joleen Carrillo of Grand Island, Colleen DeLeon (Pete) of Grand Island, Arleen Kamper (Payday Galvan) of Grand Island, Dorleen Kamper Jakubowski (Chuck) of Ashton and Gayleen Kamper Bjerke (Greg) of Colorado; his parents-in-law, George and JoAnn Kamper; his brother-in-law Victor Carrillo; and his nephew Terry Jo Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He continued to work until he contracted covid in February of 2022.

Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Humane Society in Toc's name.
