It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Bertus Twiestmeyer of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertus Twiestmeyer and Frieda Twiestmeyer (Rosendahl); his parents-in-law, Arnold and Ellen Norskov; his siblings-in-law, Tony Sindelar and Mary Ellen Norskov; and his niece Michelle Sindelar.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Norskov of Albion, NE.; his daughter Lisa (Clark); his son-in-law Shane Stava; his son Clark; his daughter-in-law April Twiestmeyer; his grandchildren, Olivia Stava of Grand Island, Graham Stava of Grand Island and Ava Twiestmeyer of Grand Island; his sisters, Norma Jean Sindelar of Omaha and Berniece; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Craft of Lincoln, Julie Adkins (Jack) of Eugene, OR, Tom Norskov of Grand Island and Alida Lamb (Gary) of Centennial, CO. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and many, many friends.

In 2010, the Triumph of Agriculture Exposition in Omaha selected Terry as the recipient of its yearly Agri-Award for his contributions to agricultural development in the Midwest.
