He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Brixius and Judy Brixius (Heikes); and his sister Tammy Brixius. He is survived by: his wife Terri Stolley; his daughter Kayla; his son-in-law Jeff Herrick; his grandchildren, Ella and Tucker of Kearney; his son Joshua Brixius (Tiffany Czaplewski) of Grand Island; and his brother Tim Brixius of Grand Island.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
