He is survived by: his wife Veronica Sanchez of Grand Island; his children, Shannon Burks of Grand Island and Brian Burks of Boise, ID; his grandchildren, Brady Semm (Emily), Brennan Semm, William Beau Burks and Bryson Dean Burks; his great grandchild Rosie Semm; and his brothers, James "Jim" Burks (Vicki) and Lee Burks (Dee).
