She is survived by : her husband Tom Pankonin of Grant; her daughters, Tina Klingsporn (Dan) of Mitchell and Jayme Klocke (Michael) of Salina; her brothers, Ronnie Rowan of Grand Island and Bill Rowan of Cody, WY; her grandchildren, Cole Whalen, Curtis Frisbie, Bo Klingsporn, Callie Cameron, Abigail Frisbie, Samantha Klocke and Kyli Klingsporn; and her great grandchildren, Kenison and Coen Frisbie.

A memorial has been established in Karon's memory.
