It is with sadness that the passing of Rosa Cornelius of Grant, Nebraska is shared. Rosa, born on October 1, 1934, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell Cornelius; her parents, Hermann Wendt and Elsa Wendt; her in-laws, Floyde and May Chamberlain Cornelius; her sister Irma Young (Calvin); and her siblings-in-law, Floyd Cornelius, Elaine Fraham, Eldon Cornelius, Wendell Cornelius and Carol Friesen.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Walters of Hampton, Linda Muhlbach (Dan) of Kearney, Lori Perlinger (Mike) of Elsie, Bill (Debra) of Elk Creek, David (Robin) of Madrid and Chris (Holly) of Madrid; her grandchildren, Annie, Jenna Friesen, Dani McNeil, Mandy Gerih, Traci Dieckmann, Ben Cornelius, Brett Muhlbach, Jessica Cantrell, Lindsey Cunningham, Katie Cornelius, Mitchell Cornelius, Rebecca Jones, Hanna Loeffelbein, Matthew Cornelius and Samuel Cornelius; her sister-in-law Sandra Fanning (Mack) of Loveland; and her cousins, Erna Gilster and John Wendt. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bullock Long Funeral Home (409 Warren Ave, Grant, NE 69140). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (705 Central Ave, Grant, NE 69140).
A memorial has been established in Rosa's memory for later designation.
