It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abraham George McFarling (Gretna, Nebraska), born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa McFarling and Olive Taylor McFarling. He is survived by: his brothers, Stan and Clark; his wife Jeanette Lewison; his son Randy; his grandchildren, Jake, Max and Ruby; his sister Vivian Lowe; his brothers-in-law, Stanley and Clark Lewison; and his son Russ.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Roeder Mortuary (11710 Standing Stone Dr, Gretna, NE 68028). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar Standing Stone Bible Church (321 US-6, Gretna, NE 68028).
