He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fibich and Marjorie Fibich; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Patty Van Cleve (Dustin) and Susie Baustian (Chris); his grandchildren, Chloe, Luke, Brynn, Colton and Hallie; and his siblings, Chris Christensen (Scott), Don Fibich (Tammy), Frank Fibich (Michelle), Bob Fibich (Kim), Barb Roth (Dan) and Mary Brown (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roeder Mortuary (11710 Standing Stone Dr, Gretna, NE 68028). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (11204 S 204th St, Gretna, NE 68028).
In lieu of flowers, David's family encourages donations to meaningful charities advancing the treatment of Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
