He is survived by: his children, Tim Pilakowski (Tracy), Kay "Kaylynn" Larson (Gordon) and Michelle Szaro (Jim); his siblings, Betty Lou, Nancy, Fred, Jim, Teresa and Karen; his grandchildren, Tim Jr. (Heather), Kristin (Brandon), Jacob (Maya), Tara (Aidan), Jason, Lauren, Amber, Ashlyn (Will) and Briar; and his great grandchildren, Reed, Parker and Ivy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church - Gretna (508 W Angus Rd, Gretna, NE 68028). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
