He is survived by: his brother Lawrence; his wife Deborah Thrune; his son Chris Whaley; his daughter-in-law Mona Whaley; his daughter Dana Haecker; his son-in-law Nathan Haecker; and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Catherine Whaley, Sydney, Joshua and Caleb Haecker.
