It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard A. Odermatt (Gretna, Nebraska), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner and Rose; his sister Mary Ann Walker; his son Kirk; and his granddaughter Kloe.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Chad and Nicki Welte (Mike); his daughter-in-law Julie; his grandchildren, Anastin, Kalyn Odermatt, Josie, Hallie Odermatt, Derek, Emma and Kendall Welte; and his sister Diane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to NCS Hope Foundation or to the family for later designation.
