He is survived by: his son Loran "Gene" Herrick Jr. (Cheryl) of Guide Rock; his brothers, Leonard of Franklin and Bill of Bloomington; his children, Sandee Heller (Eric) of Guide Rock and Kevin (Kandice) of Guide Rock; his grandchildren, Devin (Kyndsay) of Palmer, Taylor (Laura) of Lincoln, Christine (Brett) of Blue Hill, Korrie (Spencer) of Hastings, Trever of Nelson and Samuel of Hastings; his stepgrandsons, Jakob (Lyla) of Blue Hill and Aiden of Guide Rock; his great grandchildren, Owyn, Hayzlee, Maxtyn, Graham, Coleson, Halle and Hunter; and his stepgreat-grandchild Maci.
