He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sandy Eich, Morgan Smith and Elmer Travis. He is survived by: his wife Janese Travis of Gurley; his son Kellan Travis (Dakota) of Dix; his stepdaughter Sheena Jenson (Ryan) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Avrilynne, Owen, Wyatt (Travis), Nora, Leah and Noah (Jenson); his siblings, Barbara Travis-Henne of McCook, Bettye Smith of Ft. Collins, Judy Allison of Kimball, Karen Schroder of Cheyenne and David Smith of Idaho; his mother-in-law Bernice Russell of Gurley; and his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Russell of Gurley, Rodney Russell of Potter and Bryan Russell of Gurley. He is also survived by seven nieces, twelve nephews and numerous extended family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Dix Volunteer Fire Department and can be left at the Potter State Bank or with the family.
