He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Egging and Nellie Egging (Rieken); and his wife Carolee Janicek of Kimball. He is survived by: his children, Carmen (Steve Draper) of Dalton, Kent and Father Martin Egging of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Kent Egging (Terry Loftus) of Gurley and Samantha (Keelan Halvorsen) of Ketchikan, Alaska; and his brothers-in-law, Derald Janicek of Hot Springs and Duane (Fran Janicek) of Kimball. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial has been established to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
