He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Janzen and Martha Janzen (Regier); his grandson Jacob Janzen; his siblings, Jan (Zech) and John Janzen, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Matt Frantz, Brett Frantz (Megan), Scott Frantz, Nolan Janzen (Tierney), Randi Cartier (John), Reagan Terry (Carter), Sydney Janzen, Don Christensen, Dane Christensen (Alena), Dean Christensen, Addie Pettiford (Khyree) and Amy Christensen.

He is survived by: his wife Lois (Russell) of Grand Island; his children, Kim Frantz (Stan) of Lawrence, KS, Doug Janzen (Debbie) of Hampton and Charles Janzen of Hampton; his stepson Dave Christensen of Lincoln; and his brother Don Jazen of Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Community Church in Aurora.
