He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Blobaum and Gladys Blobaum (Theye); his parents-in-law, Oscar and Milda Rosenthal (Malchow); his son Chad; his sisters, Anita Baumfalk and Kathy Carstens; and his brother-in-law Walt Wollenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rosenthal; his children, Keri Grummert (Michael) and Ryan Blobaum (Rachel) of Lincoln; his grandsons, Wyatt, Weston and Jackson Grummert; his siblings-in-law, Harold Baumfalk of Beatrice, Duane Carstens of Colorado, Gerald Rosenthal (Dorathea) of Fairbury, Duane Rosenthal of Harbine, Dean Rosenthal of Fullerton, Leonard Rosenthal (Laura) of Harbine, Gary Rosenthal of Harbine, Marge Wollenburg (Herb) of Odell, Leola Wollenburg, Marilyn Adam (Dale) and Shirley Peterson (Kevin); his niece Sherry Rogge (Mark); and his nephews, Todd Diekman of Beatrice and Michael Rosenthal. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice with a later designation in care of the mortuary.
