He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Achtemeier and Doris Achtemeier. He is survived by: his friends, Kimberly Haywood (Mike) of Elkhorn, Kristine Tevis (Shaun) of Gretna, Justin Hess of Gretna and Jan Hess; and his siblings, Karen Huls (Roger) of Sterling and Robert Achtemeier (Diana) of Gering. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
