He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Linda; his children, John, Waldo, Eldora of God's Word, Jeremy and Elijah; his father Alva Goossen; his wife Lynette; his daughter Naomi Becker (Stefan); his grandchildren, Elsie-Grace and Matthias Becker; and his siblings, John Goossen (Sue) and Eldora Brock (Randy). He was also cherished by friends and family, and welcomed a son-in-law and two grandchildren into his own family.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harbine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosspoint Bible Church. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
