He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hochstein and Rose Hochstein (Schulte); his wife Elaine; his son Russ Michael; his granddaughter Megan Shepherd; and his siblings, Lawrence, Reynold, Gilbert, Fritz, John Jr. Hochstein, Valeria (Rose Jean), Rosine Pinkelman, Ruth Huennekens, Viola Lammers, Dolores Abbot, Freida Hoss (Don) and Mary Wieseler (Ralph).
He is survived by : his children, Dale (Laura), Kirk (Barb), Neal (Sharlee), Nick (Jessi), Karl (Carroll), Glen (Pam), Greg Hochstein (Stephanie), Jane (Richard Mehaffey), Ann (Lee Shepherd), Susan (Terry Hupp), Joyce (Roger Paseka), Nancy (Doug Vrbka), Brenda (Doug Hummel) and Bette (Keith Becker). He is also survived by 48 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
