She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Marion Whitehorn (Bergman) and Francis Whitehorn; her siblings, Helen Winters, Lawrence Whitehorn and Ralph Whitehorn; and her stepson John Gubbels.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hoile (Michelle) of Des Moines, IA, Jennifer Judt of Norfolk and Stacie Buss (Scott) of Norfolk; her stepchildren, James Gubbels (Marshawn) of Winside, Jerry Gubbels (Amy) of Stuart, Joe Gubbels (Maggie) of Wayne and Julie Thompson (Shawn) of Wayne; her stepdaughter-in-law Christy Gubbels of Norfolk; and her siblings, Mary Myers of Laurel, Leo Whitehorn (Carol) of Hartington and Vincent Whitehorn of Murphysboro, IL.. She is also survived by three grandsons; one step-granson.
Betty's family will be directing your memorials to Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Wynot High School, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
