Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Fred Bartling (Hartington, Nebraska), born in Canton, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 76, on October 22, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bartling and Betty Bartling (Mitchell); his wife Diane Baack; and his stepfather Maurice Long. He is survived by: his children, Michelle (Josh), Dowling and Chris (Alissa); his siblings, Doug Bartling (Julie), Tim Bartling (Vonda) and Linda Hill (Richard); and his pet Hank. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, Fred requested that donations can be made to the Holy Trinity School (in Memory of Fred Bartling) in appreciation of the dedicated teachers.
