We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2023, at the age of 79, Gary Bowers of Hartington, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernie Bowers and Irene Johanna Bowers (Weddingfeld); his brother Larry Bowers (Shirley); his brother-in-law Owen "Tuffy" Hartmann; and his niece Tami Hartmann.
He is survived by : his wife Barb of Hartington; his daughters, Pam Schlaefli (Doug) of Tabor, SD, Penny Pinkelman (Norm) of Columbus, Paula Buhrmann (John) of Lincoln and Bernice Yilk (Adam) of Plainview; his grandchildren, Amanda Pinkelman (Patrick Ducey), Michael Gall, Kyland Pinkelman, Paige Gall, Zachary Schlaefli, Jameson Yilk, McKenzie Yilk and Brynlee Yilk; his great grandchild Zoey McKamy; and his siblings, Karen Hartmann of Winside and Dennis Bowers (Lois) of Winside. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
