He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervan A. Kressig and Geneva Kressig (Whitehorn); his wife Janice Faye Kittle (Smith); his brother Donovan (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Megan Smith and Erik Smith; and his aunt Flora Hassman (Jim).
He is survived by : his stepchildren, Mark Smith of Rockford, IL, Chuck Smith of Hartington, Jim Smith (Dawn) of Birmingham, AL, Dan Smith of Lakewood, CA, Darryl Smith of Hartington, Theresa Lubberstedt (Ryan) of Dixon and Marla Wortmann (Randy) of Hartington; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Kressig of Yankton, SD.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
