He was predeceased by : his parents, Frances Mary Sudbeck (Thoene) and Paul Sudbeck; his siblings, Allen Sudbeck, Mildred Bracht (Norbert) and Maureen Kathol (Arthur); his brother-in-law Kenneth Stratman; his grandson John Lammers; and his great grandchild Spencer Lammers.
He is survived by : his wife Delores Erna Kathol of Hartington; his children, Rick Sudbeck (Tricia) of Loveland, CO, Gerald Sudbeck of Hartington, Kathy Lammers (Joe) of Hartington, Keith G. Sudbeck (Charlene) of Wynot, Sidney Sudbeck (Terri) of Hader, Karen Boeckman (Mick) of Wynot, Marcel Sudbeck (Deb) of Norfolk, Annette Williams (Cecil) of Crescent, OK and Nancy Becker (Todd) of Yankton, SD; his sister Jean Stratman of St. Helena; and his sister-in-law Jolene Sudbeck of Hartington. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren.
