He is survived by : his wife Kathy Heimes of Hartington, NE; his sons, Scott Young (Allison Allie) of Naples, FL, Jeffrey Young (Alexandra) of West Fargo, ND and John Young (Lesley) of Phoenix, AZ; his stepchildren, Kimberly Parks (Nick) of Omaha, NE, Mindy Peitzmeier (Jason) of Omaha, NE, Kyle Heimes of Wynot, NE and Tyler Heimes (Shannon) of Hartington, NE; his sisters, JoEtta Kurtz of Sioux Falls, SD and Teresa Emerson of Lebanon, TN; and his grandchildren, Michael, Madeline, Maxwell Young, Arianna, Kaitlyn, Kinslee, Nixen, Dysen, Ayslee, Harley Heimes, Makenna, Kennedy Parks, Lincoln and Ellie Peitzmeier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established by the family.
