He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Charles and LaVerne Katrina Marie Evans (Haahr); his sons, Josh Arthur, Dave Arthur and Mark Evans; and his father-in-law Bill Nickel.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy of Hartington; his children, Alisha Gratzfeld (Eric) of Yankton, SD, Andy Evans (Robin) of Springfield, SD and Eric Arthur (Geneva) of North Carolina; his siblings, Mike Evans of Texas and Sharon Lammers (Kevin) of Hartington; his daughter-in-law Stacey Bottolfsen Arthur of Lincoln; and his mother-in-law Syvella Nickel of Yankton, SD.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
