He is survived by: his children, Cody Jansen (Nikki Putnam), Alison Jansen (Xavier Shiu) of Atlanta, Grace Bessmer (Jared) of Plainview, NE, Austin Jansen of Hartington, NE and Aspen Jansen of Osmond, NE; his granddaughter Aubrey Putnam; and his siblings, Leon Jansen, Rick Jansen, Robert Jansen, Yawni Conrad, Karla Drotzmann, Kristi Trimble, Jamie Hassenstab and Rhonda Jansen.
