He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Arens and Ida Louise Arens (Schulte); and his son-in-law Steve Fejfar. He is survived by : his wife Arlene of Hartington; his children, Kathy Feimer (Ron) of Yankton, SD, Gerard Arens (Debbie) of Hartington, Ed Arens (Charlene) of Fordyce, Mary Fejfar (Steve) of Yankton, Jean Hoesing (Al) of Hartington, Karen Arens (Bryan) of Hartington, Tim Arens (Julie) of Crofton and Judy Leif (Perry) of Lincoln; and his sister-in-law Laura Arens of Crofton. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren.
