She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Stefanie Rhode, Keri Carlson, Dr. Jenny Flum, Ashley Green, Dr. Sarah Haag, Dana Hansen, Leah Waid, Libby Hansen, Tyler Specht, Michael Waid, Dr. Bryce Hansen, Matthew Waid and Peter Hansen; her mother Marilyn Hansen (Brodersen) of Hartington, Nebraska; her siblings, Cherine Specht (Jim) of Hartington, Dr. Dale Hansen (Sandra) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Lori Hansen (Michael Waid) of Yankton, David Hansen (Karla) of Hartington and Dr. Calvin Hansen (Kathleen) of Des Moines, Iowa; and her stepbrother Byron Hansen (Cheryl) of Kearney, Nebraska.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (304 S Main St, Coleridge, NE 68727). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
