He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph John and Ursula Elizabeth Kathol (Heimes); his brothers, Victor, Clifford and Joseph; and his niece Mary Kerkman.
He is survived by : his wife Frances Marie Koman; his daughter Talitha Ann Kathol-Falconer of Oklahoma City, OK; his siblings, Phyllis Patton of Chicago, IL, Connie Kaiser (Jerry) of Billings, MT, Glenn Kathol (Rosemary) of Hartington, Ruth Browne of Durham, NC, Mary Reece (Chuck) of Dallas, TX, Kelly Kathol (Giuseppina) of Los Angeles, CA, Carrie Heine (Steve) of Wynot and Carla Rooney (Jim) of Kansas City, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Kathol of Sutton, NE and Pamela Kathol of Lenexa, KS. He is also survived by 33 nephews and nieces and many great nephews & nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ralph & Ursula Kathol Scholarship Fund at Hartington Cedar Catholic High School.
