He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Sudbeck and Johanna Sudbeck (Fuchs); his wife Bonnie Jaeger; his daughters, Diane Sudbeck and Brenda Bottolfson; his grandchildren, Joshua Bottolfson, Jeff and Julie Vandermark; his brother LaJoy (Ellie Sudbeck); and his brothers-in-law, William Jaeger and Ralph Jaeger.

He is survived by : his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan Wheeler, Miranda Augustine, Mariah Augustine, Dustin Lammers, Nicholas Lammers and Heather Nelson; his children, Karen Scdoris (Ed) of Hartington and David Sudbeck of Charleston, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Jaeger of Sioux City and Alice Klug of Hartington.
