She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Keister and Edna Keister (Eighmy); her husband Raymond Bockerman; her son Jerry; and her siblings, Anna Riese, Caroline Stadler, Leland Jr. and Robert.
She is survived by: her sons, Arlo (Marcia) of Palmer, Dennis of Hastings and Joe (Sue); her granddaughters, Stacy Ochsner of Gothenburg and Jessica Herold (Wayne) of Tyler, MN; her great grandchild Connor of Sioux Falls, SD; her sisters, Lulu Schmidt of Hastings and Bonnie Burling (Carroll) of Hastings; and her sister-in-law Bonnie McLeod of Juniata.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Apfel Funeral Home (505 N Bellevue Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
