We announce the death of Betty Magee of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 103. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett (Gerner); her husband Charles I. Magee Jr.; and her sister Aletha Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Karon Hansen (Fred), Gregg Magee and Cindy Wilson; her grandchildren, Scot DeWitt (Stu), Heidy Behrens (Vance), Kelly Robertson (Gabe), Angie Marshall (Brad) and Garrett Svoboda (Mandy); her great grandchildren, Easton Boyd, Alyssa Robertson, Hayley Marshall, Kara Robertson, Landon Marshall, Carter Svoboda, Libby Svoboda, Brett Svoboda, Elsie Svoboda and Kyle Behrens (Lauren); and her grandchildren, Grant Behrens (Brittany), Conor Behrens (Ashley) and Chloe Schneider (Ahren). She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.
