He was predeceased by: his parents, John Black and Gladys Black (Funk); his wife Mary of John's Lutheran Church; his son John; and his siblings, Hank, Dick, Tom and Jean.
He is survived by: his sons, James L. Black of Hastings and Jerry L. Black (Deb) of Racine, WI; his granddaughters, Mandy (Josh) and Sarah (Evan); and his great grandchildren, Conner, Killian, Zaida, Ezekiel and Anja. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
