Charles R. Eigenberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Eigenberg of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on October 8, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles R. Eigenberg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Eigenberg and Irma Eigenberg (Stulken); his brother Paul; his siblings-in-law, Harry and Joan Rubenkoenig; and his great grandchild Westley Lyman.
He is survived by: his wife Sigrid Eigenberg; his children, Elissa (Jamie Walz), Brent (Penny Eigenberg) and Craig (Mou Ling Eigenberg); his grandchildren, Christian (Morgan Walz), Nathan (Lexi Walz), Katie (Mark Lyman), Anthony Eigenberg, Natalea (Austen Nordstrom) and Arthur (Ellie Eigenberg); his great grandchildren, Nolan Walz and Nora Walz; his brother Roger; and his sister-in-law Dian Eigenberg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral (422 N Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Arc of Adams-Clay Counties, Hastings College-Charles R. Eigenberg Scholarship Fund, or YMCA of Hastings.
