Dale Duane Bird Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Duane Bird of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bird and Marybelle Bird (Rants); his parents-in-law, Alfred and Agnes Jurgena; his sister Judy; and his brothers-in-law, John Marfisi and Dennis Jurgena.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bird; his children, Mistina (Brian Wagner) and Craig (Shannon Bird); his grandsons, Jackson Wagner and Mason Wagner Brothers; and his sister Melodie (Ron Mangers Bothers). He is also survived by Sister-in-Law: Mary Lou Jurgena Numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to St, Jude's. Private family burial will be at Blue Valley Cemetery at a later date.
