He is survived by: his daughter Karen (Darrin Nienhueser); his son-in-law William McLeod of Hastings; his grandchildren, Pamala, Justin Gregg of Hastings, Cassandra, Luke Bishard of Parker, CO, Karissa McLeod of Pickrell, NE, Joshua Nienhueser of Juniata, Desirae, Tristan Junker of Kenesaw, NE and Melinda Nienhueser of Juniata; his great grandchildren, Braxton and Landon Gregg of Hastings; and his grandchildren, Ellianna, Lillian, Stetson, Goldie Bishard of Parker, Rori and Mason Junker of Kenesaw.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First St Paul's Lutheran Church (501 N Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
He served on the First St. Paul's Foundation.
