We announce the death of Eldon L. Orthmann of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Orthmann and Estella Orthmann (VonLoh); and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his wife Tammy of Hastings; his grandchildren, Rowyn, Jax, Jude, Abraham and Maxwell; his mother-in-law Shirley Petersen of Hastings; his sisters-in-law, Sandi Stevens of Hastings and LeEtta Petersen of Hastings; Miranda, Jesse Sullivan of Carver, Christine, Clayton Schenk of Hastings and Patrick O'Neil of Lincoln, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (837 Chestnut Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
