He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise A. Ady and Louise A. Bassford; his wife Florence M. Martin of Paul's Lutheran Church; his sister Betty L. Browning; his son Wade K. Martin; and his son-in-law Roger A. Alloway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Scarbrough (Gentry), Kenna Sidlo (Steve Meyer), Hastings (Shawna), Keven Neujahr (Gibbon) and Erin (Todd Tessman); his grandchildren, Bobby (Lauren Scarbrough), David (Shirley Scarbrough), Jamie Cain, Jared (Katie Sidlo), Travis Alloway, Tia (Luke Robinson), Austin (Marissa Applegate), Alec Applegate, Adalyn Applegate, Spencer Tessman, Jake Tessman and Ayden Tessman; his great grandchildren, Jubil Scarbrough, Cole Scarbrough, Grace Scarbrough, Gabriel Scarbrough, Jamie Hendricks, Noah Scarbrough, Adya Dea, Madaliene Cheesman, Owen Cheesman, Elliott Sidlo, Creighton Sidlo, Karyss Sidlo, Porter Kinnaman, Charlotte Alloway, Reagan Applegate, Greyland Applegate and Everleigh Dubois; and his nieces, Linda Martilla and Brenda Boehnlein.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
