Berck; her children, Deborah, Ronald Buhr, Hastings, Bonny, Randy Rainforth, Doniphan and James W. Berck Jr.; her grandchildren, Jamie (Frankie Graff), Alexander Rainforth, Christopher (Hanna Rainforth) and James W. III (Amanda Berck); her great grandchildren, Ashten Duering, Temperance Teboe and Noah Rainforth; and her sister Judy Haataja.
