He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton O. Phillips and Laura M. Phillips (Kull); his wife Patricia Ann Phillips; and his brother Duane Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Ann (Tom Jacobson), Mark (Cathy Phillips) and Hastings (Michelle Phillips); and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Kershisnik and Charles (Jolene Menapace).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Calendar Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Michael's Catholic Church (721 Creighton Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hastings Catholic Schools.
