He is survived by: his son Craig (Jill Melvin); his grandchildren, Cory Melvin, Sioux Falls, Jeni, Jesse Synder, Omaha, Heidi, Karel Polacek, Claytonia, Hannah, Aaron Rodgers, Hastings, Haley Melvin, Hillary Melvin and Dev Hiripitiyage; his great grandchildren, Azariah, Carter, Aijalyn, Landen, Savannah, Arrielly, Mabel, Dean, Parker, Alex and Emily; and his great great grandchild Cinco.

Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
