We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, Lewis F. Lukas of Hastings, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lukas and Cloetta Lukas (Schmidt); his wife Shirley Lukas; his sisters, Dorothy Roskilly, Mary Werner and Mildred Roudebush; and his son Jason Lukas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Lukas and Erin Lukas; his brother James Lukas; and his former wife Rose Mary. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Butler Volland Funeral Home (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A rosary will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Butler Volland Chapel (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (1246 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Cecilia Catholic Church or Start Over Rover.
